It is with great regret and sadness that I must inform of the recent loss of Wesley Jones who passed away suddenly after a relatively short illness. A long time supporter of harness racing as an Owner, Trainer and Driver enjoying much success with the horses Outlaw and Ja Ja Binks amongst others. More recently Wesley gave up a great deal of his time and was an active track steward and BHRC integrity officer in order to assist in the running of the sport that meant so much to him.

One of life’s true characters Wesley adopted a no nonsense approach to life and always said what he thought, whether you liked it or not because that was just the way he was. He will be sadly missed by Jackie, his mother Glenys and other family members along with those of us who were fortunate enough to have counted him as a friend and had come to know the inner Wesley as the true good hearted generous person that he was.
