Many people will be aware that over the winter a group made up of a few directors and senior track officials have been conducting a review of the rule book. This has been to review feedback received from stewards throughout the 2022 season along with suggestions sent in by licence holders.

Unfortunately due to time constraints we have been unable to release the reviewed rulebook ahead of the 2023 season. It is felt unfair to licence holders to change the rules after the season is already underway so the decision has been made to stick with the 2022 rule book for the remainder of the 2023 season.

However the updated Y section, which was posted on the BHRC website on 5th May, will still be enforced for the 2023 season.
