On Saturday 17th January, Chairman Roy Sheedy and Vice Chairman Jim McInally, met with the Directors of STAGBI, the first meeting between the organisations for many years.
Although there was no set agenda the meeting went exceptionally well. Many topics were discussed and whilst it is safe to say that there are trying times ahead for both associations, the overriding mood at the meeting was one of co-operation and openness. This is a great starting point to building a new working relationship between the two bodies and with that in mind the associations will be attending the UET Assembly at the end of the month together.
