The race series has been well supported again for 2016 by promoters and as such this season will see SEVEN FREE FOR ALL races that will be staged as follows:
Monday 30th May – Appleby Spring (1m500yds)
Saturday 4th June OR Sunday 5th June – Wolverhampton (1mile/1½ mile)
Sunday 24th July – Amman Valley (1 mile)
Saturday 6th OR Sunday 7th August – Corbiewood (1m3f)
Friday 26th August – Tregaron (1m50yds)
Friday 9th September – Newcastle (1¼ mile)
Saturday 24th September – Tir Prince (1 mile)

Every horse will be guaranteed FIVE races (entry fee £50 per race)
Ten horses per race (subject to track maximum) for a total purse of £2900 (1st £1400 – 2nd £700 – 3rd £300 – 4th £150 – 5th £100 – 6 to 10th £50) – every horse running will have entry fee returned.
Trophy and Rug Presentation for the highest money earning horse who will be crowned The Big Gun 2016.

The highest handicap entries at each of the above fixtures will have the option to supplement into the Battle of the Big Guns race – £100 pro-rata stake plus £50 entry fee
