The race schedule for Wolverhampton has had to be altered due to lack of entries for some of the feature races (3YO, 4YO, STAGBI Mares, FFA and 6 Furlong). In order to accommodate the racing and those that have supported the fixture, it has been necessary to allow race splits where possible for owner, trainer & driver.

Thank you to connections of all horses that have entered to race. The Promoters sincerely hope that the fixture will also be widely supported by spectators, from within the sport as well as newcomers. The venue is central and easily accessible and provides a guaranteed fixture for Harness Racing. The Promoters will be meeting over the next few days to discuss and try to ascertain why the fixture has received a less than expected entry level and also to decide on whether racing at Wolverhampton can be sustained in future seasons.

On a positive note the fixture will continue next week with two days of competitive racing starting at 5.30pm on Saturday and 2pm on Sunday. The jockeys canteen (accessed off the lorry park) will be open for all to use over the two days. The bars and food outlets at trackside will be open for all spectators.
