NATIONALLY
The structure of the BHRC administration has to change – the present system where there are grand- parents votes and traditions needs to be updated.
I would suggest a change based on the three countries represented within BHRC – owners to be classified according to their residential address, each country to be represented by e.g. 1 rep per 100 licence holders. Presuming 1000 licence holders this would provide a representative board of 10 from which a chair and vice chair (diff countries) could be chosen. Chair to be rotated every two years with the vice-chair succeeding this would allow for consistent succession. Each board member not including the chair and vice chair to hold a given a portfolio e.g. promotion, sponsorship, finance, stewarding, rules, integrity, fixtures.
