The handicap panel has completed it’s annual review of the handicapping system ahead of the 2024 season. Please see attached the updated handicap system document.     - Handicap System 2024

The key changes are as follows:

- Place money band increased so a horse can now win up to £200 place money without being penalised.

- Prize money bands increased so a horse can now win more money within the lower bands.

- C Class drivers allowances can be claimed when applied for at time of entry on any event with a value or combined 1st place value of £1000 or lower.

- Horses rated 80 and above to receive double points lift when unplaced with no prize money. This has been reverted to the method used in 2022.
