OWNERS / TRAINERS INFORMATION

The weather over the past eight years has made it almost impossible to run a three day meeting so we have taken the sensible step and curtailed the event putting on TWO days of Championship Racing.
Entries closed on Wednesday 17th August and races will be framed as per the handicap returns at 9am Monday 22nd August.
The two handicaps will feature the top horses in the handicap running as FIVE heats each day (split 50:50) with the first two horses in each heat qualifying for the Final. Heats will be in grades and carded as preferred with draw made for horses on equal monies. In the finals all runners will run off their handicap grade, preferred within the grade and draw made for equal monies. The heats for the Dragon races will also be drawn, where necessary, and horses listed in barrier draw order, so please regard your entry as a declaration to run.
Le Trot races will be framed by Trot Britain under their current conditions.
On Monday evening at 7 o’clock in the Memorial Hall Tregaron ALL the races requiring a draw for position will be drawn live on Facebook in the presence of a Regional BHRC Steward and any Owners / Trainers are welcome to attend. The race-card will appear on Wednesday morning in full draw order. For the very first time the race-card on the day will reflect the barrier position of all horses
ALL horses on the entry list at 5pm on Monday evening will be liable for entry fee.
Please note you will still need to declare your horse on the day
As a club we genuinely believe this is an advancement in the promotion of our sport and we hope all clubs will take the same route.
